During this accessible and fun workshop, She Said Jump's friend and collaborator Anna Millais will introduce some of the techniques she uses in her work, including aspects of the process she used to create the illustrated booklet that accompanies the show, The Guy in the Luggage Rack.
For this workshop you will need:
Collage stuff (pictures from magazines, newspapers, photographs etc) particularly imagery that evokes certain memory
Paper, scissors & glue
Anything to draw with e.g. pencils, crayons, ink etc
Anna is an award nominated illustrator whose work explores themes such as grief, death and the human condition. She created the series of work and accompanying video 'Memory:Loss' for She Said Jump's 2021 online project 'When Grief Came to Stay'.
